About the Role
·Reception of Unit’s requests and participate in the organization and in the meetings of the project to specify the operating details of the services that will make the USIC during clinical research projects.
·Understand the clinical research protocols in which the Unit (USIC) is involved
·Apply Good Clinical Practice (GCPs) and IATA standards, as well as relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
·Nursing procedures: blood extractions, electrocardiograms, medication administration, spirometry, etc.
·Run all the tasks that will require assistance in the projects of clinical research: visits scheduled, courier arrangements, ECG/fax transmissions, …
·Support in transferring of study data to the CRF
·Manage the processing of the human biological samples and its shipment.
·Attend site monitoring visits, review and resolve queries in accordance to GCP.
·Manage the purchases of the Unit.
·Record and maintain the activity database Unit, and the key activity indicators.
·Ensure that the activities are carried out in accordance with the requirements established in the Unit's quality system procedures, promote and implement continuous improvement in its field of action
·Actively participate in the review and updating of the Unit quality system.
Requirements
Required Education
Diploma or Degree in Nursing
English level B2
Required Experience
Minimum one-year of previous experience as a nurse.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Good communication skills
Desired Qualifications
Knowledge of the specific legislation for clinical trials and clinical research.
Experience in pediatric extractions.
Desired Experience
Previous experience as a nurse in clinical trials.
Experience with SAP management program
Organized and methodical person with high motivation and initiative.
